In May 2018 – Astro Awani, Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) & Bernama, the top broadcasters of Malaysia covered the biggest ever general elections in the country in association with WASP3D. A record of over two thousand candidates contested against each other.

WASP3D team worked in tandem with the broadcasters over custom creative content to be showcased in a seamless fashion. Sophisticated augmented reality graphics presentations with high polygon modeling of elements, made the virtual environments realistic and helped visualize the most complex election developments.

With the quantum of data flowing from everywhere, the broadcasters relied on the unique WASP3D’s Election Data Entry Application to address data integration challenges.

The data entry application is designed for manual data entry at election projects where live data feeds are unavailable. Within the application, user roles and functions can be defined for faster & efficient production. Users can manually feed in the data, which automatically builds and updates the election databases.

The Easy-To-Use unified dashboard structures categorize and format manually fed data during the elections into graphical representations of the updated content. The simplified workflow consolidates all information into a single user interface and enables quick access to data related to candidate profiles, constituencies, states for edits, and updates in real-time.
